A heat pump does the work of both sides of this business in a single piece of equipment — pulling heat out of the house in summer and pulling it in from outside air in winter. That makes correct installation and accurate diagnosis more important than on a single-purpose system: reversing valves, defrost cycles, and outdoor coils all have to be checked, not just the parts a standard AC or furnace call would cover. We install new heat pump systems and repair and maintain the ones already in service.
